Project overview

Often we find ourself getting bored on our regular walks and keep shuffling our playlist. This idea brings nostalgic feeling of playing treasure hunts as a kid and lets you play throught your city on your daily walks. Helps you excercise your body and mind at the same time. You find clues and find your way to the prize and when you figure it out, hide it back for the next person to find to keep the game fun for everyone. At the end of the hunt, your pet also gets to participate in digging out the hidden treat.
How might we design a exciting habit forming dog walk routine ?
The following project represents a hypothetical academic exercise and does not reflect work endorsed by the representative brand.
Project approach
This project consists of two phase to develop a GUI product and a wearable and to test the efficacy though prototyping This hypothetical project consists of outdoor recreational activity in which participants use a mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called "geocaches" or "caches", at specific locations marked by coordinates in the neighborhood. Caches can be found in many different sizes and shapes, ranging from small film canisters to large dog treats. They usually contain a logbook where you can sign your name and date of visit. Some caches may also contain small trinkets or toys that can be taken or exchanged for an item of equal or greater value.
Geocaching is a popular activity for people of all ages, and it encourages people to explore new places, get outdoors, and enjoy nature. It's a great way to get exercise, spend time with your pets and discover new parts of your community.

Fake front door
It's a cost-effective and efficient way to gather feedback and validate assumptions about a product or service, as it allows the team to test and improve the product before investing a significant amount of time and resources into building the full version. An example of a fake front door in a dog walking app could be creating a simplified version of the app that only allows users to schedule walks and pre order the smart dawg glasses to validate assumptions.

The key in using the fake front door is to be transparent with the users, let them know that they are testing a limited version of the product and that their feedback will be used to improve the final product.
Mechanical turk

Replace complex and expensive computers or machines with human beings. For example, Flintstoning - Fred Flinstone’s feet powered his “car” wrapping a thick protective blanket of consulting around your product so that no one is hurt by it. I performed this method on 7 participants to mimic the experience of the product through iMessages asking them quizzes on the regular walks and give them directions based on the live location they shared with me for a limited time.
